My Kindergarten students are obsessed with the song “Super E” from YouTube! I can’t wait to start a unit on CVCe words with them! In the midst of making homemade spinach ravioli, I made 5 games that focus on a Super E/Magic E ending for the Smartboard and the Promethean board.
CVCe Word Value Smartboard Game
This one is for all of my math-loving students! Time to add some addition skills into our phonics block!
CVCe Word Shapes Smartboard Game
I made this game with a few of my more visual students… they always seem to think that word shapes are a type of puzzle!
CVCe Vowel Sounds Smartboard Game
Practice segmenting words and phonemic awareness with this game to focus on middle vowel sounds!
CVCe Find the Picture Smartboard Game
Complete with a picture of my students favorite superhero… “super e!” This game has students reading CVCe words and finding the matching picture!
CVCe Sentences Smartboard Game
This game has students practicing grammar and sentence structure with CVCe words. They love to be able to click and drag their words around!
