Back to School Jitters Linky Party!

08.12.2012 by Jessica Kings //

All of this talk about back to school and the big TPT sale has really got me thinking about going back… even though it will be weeks before I actually go back (the kids start September 10, but obviously I’ll be back in before then!)  Anyway… I was thinking about the book First Day Jitters and all the crazy emotions we feel before then… and I decided to make a quick little linky for it!

Back to School Jitters Linky Party

Here are all of my back to school emotions!  I tried to focus on the positives!!!

Here is the picture so you can link up… but be sure to read the rules!!!

Rules for the Linky Party:
  1. Put your text over the picture above to talk about your back to school “jitters!”  If you’re not sure how to put text over a picture, check out this link!
  2. Use the HTML code at the top of this post to link back to the post!
  3. Comment on the two blog posts before yours!

I’m excited to see what you link up!

Ms. Jessica, this was my first linky party. I managed to get linked up,but I didn't know how to use the code you provided. I just linked your picture with your url. Can you explain to me how to use that code the right way so next time I will know what to do? 🙂 Thanks so much!

Thanks for linking up! Absolutely! When you're in Blogger writing up a post, there are two options: "Compose" and "HTML." The "Compose" mode shows picture and will show your text with different colors, bold, underline, etc. Basically, it shows how it's going to look to everyone else. If you click "HTML" on a post, it'll show a bunch of random characters (like in that box above). That's basically the codes that the computer is using to show the pictures, colors, etc.

Anyway, in the top left corner, where it says "Compose" and "HTML," click "HTML", then paste in the code from the box. Once you do that, click back to "Compose" and it will automatically put the picture in there as well as the link. It's just a quicker way to put in the picture! I hope that helps! 🙂

I'm so sorry, Ms. Jessica…I linked up what I thought was an appropriate Back to School Jitters type post…but after visiting several of the other posters, I realize it was supposed to be "Back to School Jitters" linky specific. 🙂 I tried to follow the directions…but being quite tech unsavvy, I did the best I could and will put up another link to that post..if your linky will let me.
