Back to School Borders/Frames! & Back to School Sale!

08.06.2012 by Jessica Kings //

First things first… it’s almost that time again!  No, I’m not talking about going back to school, I’m talking about the famous TPT back to school sale!!!  Get ready… because my entire TPT store will be on sale for 28% off (as will hundreds of other TPT stores)!

Fellow bloggers, feel free to use this image to promote your sale too!!!

I had such a blast making that frame that I ended up making a whole set of back to school frames!  The frames have pencils, colored pencils, buses, and red, green, and yellow apples!  I just love how they came out! They’re listed at TPT for $2, check them out at the picture below!

How do you make such cute things? Can you provide some guidance? Thanks!

I made this in a combination of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, which is why I hesitate to write up tutorials for it. Most people don't have the programs and they're relatively expensive so I'd feel bad writing about it.

I do have a tutorial for how to make a frame in PowerPoint which does help out in making cute things! I'll try to figure out how to make things like this in free programs and add them in the future!

    Cute borders!

I am excited too, but bid you know that sales will really SLLLLLOOOWWWWW down if we post about this too early? At least 2-3 days at the most! 🙂

True, but I figured TPT had already sent out their email about it and it was no harm in putting the picture out there to save others from taking the time to design something when there was already an option available. Thanks for the info though.

Thanks for the info, I'll definitely check it out! For others looking to find it, the link above doesn't seem to link to your blog, so everyone else can find her linky party here!

Thank you! I think I'm going to make frames for each month and include the different holidays in that month because I just loved making these!
